Steve Bagan received his M.D. degree from Baylor College of Medicine in Houston, TX in 1976. He then took his ophthalmology residency at Mayo Clinic in Rochester, MN, and has had an eye surgical practice in Fargo since 1980.
He is a cornea transplant surgeon, giving him valuable experience in all aspects of cornea surgery. He has had refractive surgery himself and is experienced in a wide range of vision correction procedures. He has performed and taught eye surgery in the Philippines, Nigeria, India, Peru, Nicaragua, Ukraine, Romania, Tanzania, Jamaica and Guyana.
Tom Strinden received his M.D. degree from University of North Dakota School of Medicine in Grand Forks, ND, in 1988. He completed his ophthalmology residency at the University of Wisconsin, Madison, and has had an eye surgical practice in Fargo since 1995.
Dr. Strinden’s practice emphasis is refractive and cataract surgery but he also offers a range of services related to general ophthalmology. He is an associate clinical professor at the University of North Dakota School of Medicine and is the President elect of the North Dakota Society of Eye Physicians and Surgeons. He has performed volunteer mission surgery in India and Honduras.
David Grosz is a Fargo native and has been practicing medicine in Fargo since 1984.
Dr. Grosz maintains a very active interest in music and plays keyboard for an area band. He is listed in “Who’s Who in Medicine” as well as “The Best Doctors in America”.
He earned a Masters Degree in Bacteriology from North Dakota State University. He then earned his M.D. from the University of North Dakota School of Medicine, Grand Forks, ND and completed his Residency in Ophthalmology, at the University of Wisconsin.
Harold Rodenbiker is a North Dakota native and has been practicing medicine in Fargo since 1984.
He earned his M.D. from University of Arizona College of Medicine, Tucson, AZ and completed his residency at Louisiana State University Medical Center, Shreveport, LA. He completed a Cornea Transplant Fellowship at Duke University Eye Center, Durham, NC.
Dr. Rodenbiker has been selected to "The Best Doctors in America" since 1996. He also volunteered time doing surgery on the Mercy Ship in Sierra Leone, West Africa.
Dr. Rodenbiker has researched and published articles in prominent Eye Journals. He is a Diplomate of the American Board of Ophthalmology, a Fellow of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and a member of the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgery.
Lance Bergstrom, M.D., is a Fargo native. He is a graduate of the University of Minnesota School of Medicine and a Diplomat of the American Board of Ophthalmology.
He is a member of the American Academy of Ophthalmology and the American Society of Cataract and Refractive Surgeons. He is also a Clinical Assistant Professor, Department of Surgery, at the UND School of Medicine and Fellow of the America College of Surgeons.
Dr. Bergstrom has a longstanding interest in medical mission work. He as done mission trips to Africa, Indonesia, and most recently Haiti. Bergstrom Eye & Laser Clinic has a full clinic in Pignon, Haiti.
Dr. Bergstrom has been practicing medicine since 1992.
